Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This is a starting draft covering our actual current data practices, written plainly. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and should not be treated as a complete compliance document — get it reviewed before relying on it, especially as the business grows.

What we collect

When you subscribe, we collect your email address. That's it — we don't require your name, phone number, or any other personal information to sign up.

How we use it

Your email is used solely to deliver the LZ Alpha newsletter (free weekly or paid daily briefings, depending on your subscription tier) and related account/billing notices (e.g. payment confirmations for paid subscriptions).

Who we share it with

We use beehiiv as our email service provider to manage subscriptions and deliver emails, and Stripe (via beehiiv) to process payments for paid subscriptions. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with advertisers or any other third party.

The financial data in our briefings (SEC filings, congressional trade disclosures, market data) is analyzed using OpenAI's API. That process only involves public market data — your subscriber information is never sent to or processed by OpenAI.

Your choices

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can leave at any time and we'll stop emailing you immediately.
